Routes to Roots and Talking About My Generation
Bringing together two projects; Talking About My Generation and Routes to Roots, where individuals from the Roshni Sheffield Asian Women's Resource Centre and Handsworth Grange School worked with Ignite Imagination's professional artists to share their stories of migration creatively.
Routes to Roots
Working with Y10/11 to produce artwork around stories of Migration. This exhibition will feature a collection of stories, photographs, artworks and films and will be part of Migration Matters Festival.
Talking About My Generation
Working with the Sheffield Roshni Groups to create artworks around experiences and stories of migration. This will be exhibited at Disrupt Festival and Migration Matters Festival and will feature a collection of stories, photographs, artworks and films.
Inspired by Benny and the Greycats with support from Maya Productions, Roshni Sheffield Asian Women's Resource Centre and Handsworth Grange School.
You can view some of the artworks at Theatre Deli during Migration Matters Festival. The groups will also meet each other at Migration Matters to share their work.
