"I am passionatley committed to enabling more people to acces the arts and that is why in 2010 I joined the board. From 2011 - 2016 I was chair of the Board. During my day job I am a senior manager for engagement and Audience at Arts Council England. I first started work in the arts in 1997 as an intern for the live in arts trust in Sheffield. Being on the board enables me to keep connected to the arts ecology in Sheffield, a city which I am very proud to call home, and to enable others to discover arts and creative activities"

My own Arts background is theatre and singing, and I have worked as a Theatre Practitioner and Drama therapist.I have also held roles in Community Arts Development, and I am currently the Arts Coordinator for Crisis Skylight South Yorkshire, part of Crisis, the national homeless charity.  As somebody who has previously worked in partnership with Ignite Imaginations on a number of projects, I am delighted to be on the Board of Trustees and I look forward to being part of an exciting future for the organisation
