Explore your creativity

Delve into different artforms

Develop your skills

Broaden your creative opportunities

Creativity is about finding new ways of solving problems and approaching situations. It’s not restricted to artists, musicians or writers; it is a useful skill for everyone.

We know that it can be hard to express your creativity. We know that you may not feel creative sometimes but want to develop your skills and future opportunities. We know that getting creative during a pandemic is pretty tricky.

That’s why we’ve designed our Arts and Culture Ambassadors programme. It’s for people just like you.

It’s your opportunity to take part in workshops covering theatre, design, photography, visual arts, creative writing and more. It’s your chance to refine your creative interests and add to your portfolio of creative experiences.

Did we mention this is FREE!

Check out our upcoming short two-day course, as follows:

When Art Goes Digital
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th April 2021
10.30 am - 4.30 pm

On this two-day course, delivered through Zoom, we’ll explore how today’s artists, writers and theatremakers have adapted to the digital age.

Led by professionals, this weekend is packed with talks and workshops on augmented reality, game design, and interactive performance. You’ll also take part in an unforgettable online escape room experience, design your own Snapchat filter and get a chance to create your own piece of ‘game theatre’!

Whatever your creative passion, learn about the world of digital art and the future of storytelling! Every participant has the opportunity to submit their work for an Arts Award ‘Explore’ qualification.

We are looking for young people aged between 12- 19 years that want to develop their creative skills, gain new experiences and would embrace the opportunity to connect with artists and creatives to support their own personal creative journey.

To take part in this course you will need access to a computer that has camera and audio functions. The course will be delivered through zoom.
