My internship with Ignite Imaginations, by Siobhan

My name is Siobhan Riley and I am a current final year student studying English Literature at the University of Sheffield. Over the Summer months, I have been fortunate enough to have an internship at Ignite Imaginations through the university’s 100 Hour Placement scheme.

I was motivated to apply for this role as I when I researched Ignite Imaginations I found their work profound. I am very aware of the positive impact the arts can have on an individuals life and the community it can provide.

My time at Ignite Imaginations has been really rewarding.

Everyone has been welcoming and I have valued immensely getting to meet

them at the team meetings, albeit virtually. I have loved gaining more experience of

working within a small arts organisation and joining the team.
