Rosie has over twenty years’ experience of working in the voluntary sector, latterly as the organisational lead for member communications and fundraising with Quakers in Britain. She’s also worked with other charities in a variety of roles from setting up a youth homelessness mediation service to managing a corporate funding partnership programme.
In 2016, after a number of years working in London during the week, she made a major change to fulfil a long-time ambition to do her MA in Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University. Since then she’s been working freelance as a trainer and creative facilitator (as well as continuing work on a novel). She’s worked with Grimm & Co, CRESST and Mediation Sheffield, as well as running her own after school Writing Club in Sheffield.
Rosie loves facilitating creative activities that encourage imaginations to flourish and grow. She’s a Philosophy for Communities facilitator and the instigator of the Sheffield Philosophy in Pubs group. She also enjoys cycling, sewing, collage and jive-dancing.
