FREE WORKSHOPS AND INVOLVEMENT IN TWO CITY WIDE FESTIVALS
We have an exciting opportunity for groups and schools to get involved in two upcoming events that we're running.
One in conjunction with Music in the Round and their festival for Chamber Music, and the other to take part in free creative sessions as part of Migration Matters Festival.
COMBATING LONELINESS
Ignite Imaginations is supporting activities across the city that help bring older, isolated people together, helping to decrease loneliness in people aged 50 and over.
Loneliness has become such a problem in our society that Teresa May created a new minister for loneliness last week to tackle the issue.
ROYAL BRITISH LEGION FUNDING
We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in receiving funding from The Royal British Legion to run an intergenerational project using creativity to share service men’s unheard stories.
Starting in the New Year the project will work with groups of ex and current service men, their children and families to explore and share their memories creatively with each other.
