ANNIE BEECH

Born: Worcester

Studied: Huddersfield

Recent Project/Show: Working with Skippko Arts in Leeds I am involved in Watch This Space; an art project for parents to create artwork and develop new skills and confidence; work has recently been exhibited at Leeds Museum as part of a family event- participants felt proud to see their work on display.

Three words to describe your practice: Accessible, sensory and (sometimes) messy

Favourite Ignite Imaginations moment/project: So many favourite moments with Art in The Park; all the people I have met and their openness to get involved. A recent highlight has been working on the Chesterfield Arts Festival, taking inspiration from sweets!

What inspires you: People: their stories, fairy and folk tales, recycling, colour, texture.
